[In-Person Session] Photography as a Universal Language and Action for Change

Rubén Salgado Escudero shares his experiences after leaving a 10-year career as a video-game developer to follow his passion in photography. Having travelled to almost 70 countries and being based between Myanmar and Mexico, photography has been his passport to make meaningful connections. He also presents his award-winning long-term project 'Solar Portraits’ which highlights the positive impact solar-powered systems have throughout the world and has helped bring solar-powered electricity to communities in rural Myanmar.
