ELT under the lens of DEI is still a topic to be explored and bridging the gap in inequality a task where teachers need to become more involved. It is in the classroom where we can advocate and create awareness of the issues and bring to the conversation the multiple issues that affect our contexts. During this session participants will be able to reflect upon their own context DEI issues, become aware of what can be done as well as provide strategies and tools to be implement in the ELT classrooms. Participants will leave with a list of resources that can be used and adapted to their own contexts.
